How do you clean a shower caddy ?

Even though they stay in the shower, caddies still need to be cleaned regularly to keep them in good shape. “Over-the-showerhead caddies tend to be the easiest to care for as they can come on and off for cleaning access,” lettel says. “Just remove and wipe down your products and give the caddy a good wipe down with a microfiber cloth and warm, soapy water.”

If you need a deeper clean, you may want to soak your shower caddy in the bathtub. “To remove any rust, fill the tub with just enough water to cover the caddy and add a cup of vinegar,” adds lettel. “Soak for 20 minutes and scrub with a paste of water and baking soda using a microfiber cloth. Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.”

But keep in mind that material also matters. “While bamboo caddies do look pretty,” says lettel, “they do require more frequent cleaning to avoid mold and regular oiling to maintain [their] shine and durability.”
